Kids and Youth

We love and value our kids and youth. We want them to know the great hope that Jesus brings, grow in their love for God and each other.

Playcircle

Kids have fun playing together, singing songs, hearing stories from the Bible and sharing morning tea. It’s a great time for both kids and parents.

Age: Under 5 years old
When: Tuesday 9:30-11:30 am during the school term
Cost: $10 per term to cover costs of morning tea and craft

Kids Club

A fun club where kids (years 3-6) can play games, share food and learn about Jesus!

Who: kids in primary school years 3-6
When: Friday 4:30-6 pm during the school term
Cost: $10 per term

Kids church and creche

Kids grow in their love and knowledge of God with fun age appropriate programs that involve songs, Bible stories, craft, and games!

Age: Primary school (Kindy to year 6)
When: 10 am Sunday mornings during school term

We also have a creche available at 10 am and 11:30 am during our services.

Grow youth

Age: High school (year 7-12)
When: 1-2:30pm on Sundays during school term

Grow Youth is a place where highschoolers learn about God, make friends and have heaps of fun doing that!

We learn from the Bible in small groups during the week. Our goal is to grow in our love for God, love for his people and to grow in living our lives for his glory.
With all our kids and youth programs, want our kids and youth to be safe. As part of the Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney, Lidcombe Anglican is committed to protecting and promoting the physical, emotional and spiritual welfare and safety of all people – especially those within our own church community.

So our kids and youth leaders have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and have completed the Safe Ministry Essentials Course.

The Safe Ministry course is our Diocese’s best practice in equipping those working with children (and other vulnerable people) with the knowledge and understanding they need to build a culture of safe ministry. The Anglican Diocese of Sydney requires all people working in ministry to children and youth, including ministers and assistant ministers, to complete Safe Ministry Essentials. Contents include:

  • Identifying and appointing appropriate leaders for Christian ministry
  • Safe practices to protect vulnerable people
  • Recognising and reporting abuse
  • Providing a safe environment for everyone
