About Us
Lidcombe Anglican Church is a multicultural church located in the heart of Lidcombe.  Our vision to make disciples of all nations.  Although we are from many cultures, our focus is to know Jesus Christ and make him known to the people in Lidcombe and beyond.

We welcome people from all ages and backgrounds to join us.  We have people from all walks of life: young families, young adults, university students, high-school students, primary-school children, preschoolers, retirees and working families. 

Our hope is that no matter what our backgrounds are, we can all connect with Christ and with one another, grow in our knowledge of him, serve one another and go out to tell others about the wonderful grace that is only found in Jesus Christ.

Our Team

Danny Au Yeung
Senior minister
Danny is married to Pansy and has three children, ranging from high school to primary school. He oversees all ministries in LAC. Danny loves having a good cup of coffee, trying all sorts of Korean food and watching soccer games (rather than playing!).​
James Liu
Assistant minister

James is married to Janet. In his spare time he loves to take short trips to enjoy the beauty of God's creation. James mainly serves at Cantonese and Mandarin ministries at LAC.
Jie Yeo
assistant minister

Jie is married to Athena, and they have three children. In Jie's spare time he loves playing sport (particularly basketball), and eating fried chicken. He serves at the English ministries here at LAC.
John Shin
assistant minister
John is married to Young and together they have three children. John was born into a Christian family but came to own this faith for himself during his university days when he understood the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection. In his spare time, John loves to cook delicious food and act as a tour guide

Our Vision

Lidcombe Anglican Church is a church that is Bible-based and Christ-centred.  Our aim is to make disciples of all nations for Jesus Christ.  We are a church where people of all cultures, ages and social backgrounds can come together in the name of Jesus Christ who died for our sin on the cross and rose from the dead to give us new life.

As we set out to achieve this aim under God, there are four steps we will take:

Connect – connect people with each other and with Jesus Christ
Grow – grow in our knowledge and likeness of Jesus
Serve – serve with joy to build up one another
Go – go out to tell others the good news of Jesus
